Governor General's Official Portrait

“His Excellency, The right Honourable Roméo LeBlanc – from small town New Brunswick, a school teacher, who’s career took him through the voted ranks of Canadian government, to representing the crown in Canada – and then back to his New Brunswick roots. Mr. LeBlanc chose to be represented informally in his official portrait as Governor General. Perhaps it’s the most honest of all the representations – an average everyday Canadian – he could be anyone of us.”
